You’re Not Failing.

Your Child’s Struggles Just Need a Different Kind of Support.

Who I am

Hi, I’m Amy Thompson — Pediatric OT, Feeding Specialist, and Mom of Three.

I help overwhelmed, worried parents navigate even the most extreme picky eating challenges with compassion, clinical expertise, and real-life mom perspective.

For over two decades, I’ve worked with families struggling with picky eating and feeding challenges that may seem  “impossible”: children eating fewer than 10 foods, melting down at mealtimes, or refusing to sit at the table at all.

I created Little Table of Grace Coaching to help parents of toddlers to teens overcome the downward spiral of extreme picky eating and create more healthy meals and happy tables.

I Support Children Who Struggle With:

ARFID (Avoidant / Restrictive Food Intake Disorder)

Feeding anxiety and worry

Feeding aversions, trauma, and more

Autism related feeding challenges

Sensory processing differences

Picky eating, nutrition and a limited food range

I've seen it. I've supported it. And I've helped transform it —

with step-by-step strategies that build trust, tolerance, and confidence at every level.

I also Support Babies Struggling to Transition to Solids and Table Foods

Not every baby dives into solids with ease — and if your little one is refusing purees, gagging on textures, or falling behind on feeding milestones, you’re not alone.

I support families with babies who are experiencing challenges like:

Difficulty moving beyond breast or bottle feedings

Sensory sensitivities to textures, temperatures, flavors, or even just touching foods

Gagging, vomiting, or strong aversions during mealtimes

Trouble transitioning from purees to table foods

Delays in oral motor skills affecting feeding success

Feeding anxiety in both baby and parent

Distress when coming to and sitting in the high chair

As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist and Feeding Specialist with nearly 20 years of experience, I use a gentle, sensory-motor informed approach to help babies develop the skills and confidence they need to eat safely and successfully.

Whether your baby is just starting solids or you're feeling stuck weeks (or months) into the process — I can help guide the way forward with step-by-step support that’s rooted in trust, connection, and long-term success.

Let’s make mealtimes calm, joyful, and full of progress, right from the start
